Nepal(P.Khadka 89(96),P.Baskota 3/47) won Malaysia(*Suhan Kumar 43(51),Nazril Tahman 4/37) by 21 runs and enter the final of ACC Elite Cup 2012.Man of the match Paras Khadka of Nepal who scored 89 runs and took one wickets.
Nepal will play its final with the winner of first semi-final i.e UAE who won against Afghanistan by 8 wickets.

One of the excellent team of Associated and affiliated nation and who is currently in division I i.e Afghanistan is out of ACC Elite cup after loosing to UAE by 8 wickets.After winning the toss Afghan have chosen to bat and it was really a day for UAE, they send the whole afgani troops in just 70 runs.
UAE bowler bowled exceptionally and they help maintaining the status never loose against Afghan. Only two batsman of Afghan manage to score double figure in the match they were Karim Sadiq who scored 12 runs of 24 balls with 2 fours and Javed Ahmadi scored 29 runs playing 65 balls with 3 fours.Star batsman like Nabi , Naib and Mangal who have played groundbreaking game against the world best teams like England and India fail to score double figure as a result they just manage to score the lowest total of their team in ACC Elite cup of just 70 runs and also the lowest total in their history.Previously they have lowest total of 88 against Kenya in 2010. Afghanistan are the defending champion of the previous ACC Elite Cup and are also the runner-up of ICC T20 Qualifier which was held in UAE.This is a really a humiliating defeat for the Afghan and also the fail to maintain their status. So they say its cricket and its a gentleman game anythings can happen in the field if you fail to maintain your game and compactly a team game.

UAE reached the final of ACC Elite Cup 2012 after defeating them.They manage to score a low target of 71 in just 23.4 overs loosing 2 wickets.Haroon Iftikhar played and not out inning scoring 34 runs of 64 balls with 3 fours and Shaiman Anwar scored 22 of 46 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.Thus UAE qualified for the final and will play its match with the winner of second semi-final i.e Nepal.

Nepal have played Elite Cup Final with UAE ten years before in 2002.Nepal had lost the last played final match of ACC Elite Cup with UAE, but this time situation is quit different and Nepal have already won the league match against UAE last week by 4 wickets. So in the upcoming final UAE will be in the target of repeating history again by taking the revange of league match while Nepal will be in the way of making history.
