Nepal Enter ACC Elite Cup 2012 Semi-Final

Nepal (P.nKhadka*61(54), B.Regmi 3/20) wo against Hong Kong(B.Hayat 27(50), Nizakat Khan 2/34) by 125 runs to enter Semi-Final of ACC Elite Cup 2012.
Man of the Match Paras Khadka  (Captain of Nepal).

Paras Khadka is the Second highest scored to the tournament.He have scored  171 runs in 4 inning with and increadable average of 85.50 and have strike rate of  121.27.
The third highest wicket taker of the tournament is Sakti Gauchan, who have taken all together 10 wickets in the tournament with an average economy of 3.01 and have best of 5/32.
Nepal enter semi final being group B winner and will play its match tomorrow against group A runner-up i.e Malaysia .The big confusion for the fans might be that, Nepal should have to play tomaorrow's match with  Afganistan but the rule is that, if two teams have eqaul point table then the head to head(Their League match) is count.That means the winner of the previous league match between two team who reached semi will play with the runner-up of the other group.
         
          Both the teams Nepal and UAE from group B have equal points i.e 6 (Refer the side point table on the blog) so In our case the league match between Nepal and UAE  was won by Nepal so Nepal will be playing with the runner-up of the Group A i.e Malaysia.

The match Nepal will play tomorrow against Malaysia will be the intreating one because the winner of tomorrow's match will play final with the winner of the second-semi final match i.e between UAE and Afghanistan.The match between Afgan and UAE is also gonna be challenging and interesting one. Afghanistan have never won any 50 overs match against UAE so UAE will be playing to protect their pride and Afghanistan will play to make history and to maintain their unbeaten to enter Final.Hope the winner of the match will get chance to play with Nepal(Optimistic thought of Nepalese fan).
