Basanta striks again with his 5 wickets for just 20 runs with an economy of 2.18 and remain as the top wicket taker of the tournament. Winning the toss USA decided to bat first but they loose their aggressive and successful batsman SR Talyor and A Rajip as their early two wickets in just 17 runs.S.Regmi and Binod das took the respective wickets, After which top two scorer of today's USA inning Misra and SS Nadkarni handle the USA scoreboard some what but unfortunately Misra who fell down and return back to pavilion in team total of 56 manage to hit 28(47) gave his wicket to the star of the match B Regmi. The fall of wickets continues and skipper strikes his first wicket of the inning as he took wicket of captain Massiah 0(8).Nadkarni playing and much needed inning manage to score the highest for USA along with OM Baker.They both score 39 runs with some boundaries but they too fail to manage good inning in front of tuners. The spinner of Nepali team seem much successful in today's inning against USA. 7 bats man of USA didn't manage to score double figure.
Basanta Regmi took last 4 wickets and make his total of 5 for the inning and total of 21 wickets in whole tournament. P khadka took 1 wickets for 21 runs while the most economical bowler of the tournament SP Gauchan claims 2 wicket for 23 runs in 10 over with an economy of 2.30. Befor being all out in 48.1 over USA manage to make 145 runs giving a low target of 146 in 50 overs for Nepal with an required rate of 2.90 now its time to go ahead for Nepal's inning and hopeful to see some good bating from the skipper P Khadka who is currently playing for Ontario academy Canada.
