DIVISION IV|NEPAL VS DENMARK|NEPAL WON BY 25 RUNS|MATCH SUMMARY

  UNSTOPPABLE NEPALI 

As if it is seen that winning has been a day to day task for the Nepali hunters.They have proven them in every aspect in this tournament. All the major part of game such as bowling, bating and catches along with some records are in the name of Himali Tigers.

Nepal Innings  

Today the Gurkha Brigade followed the same routing as Anil played a much needed inning for Nepal In a rain-affected match, Nepal scored 240 runs in 50 overs losing all wickets where Denmark could make a reply of 130 for 9 in 31 overs and thus Denmark lost by 25 runs as per D/L method where Man of the match Anil Mandal scored 113 runs from 134 balls with eight fours and four sixes as he list himself as the fifth Nepali batsman to score an international hundred in senior one day matches. Subash got in the list two day before when he scored 115 against USA.It has been a long history since Nepali batsman have followed the consecutive centuries in matches.They have been blamed by every fans and supporters for their poor bating line up but this tournament(Division IV) have given a great hope and confidence to every players and this tournament has also reflected the strategy of team game. Sometime its seem like Australian are playing out there in the field, one player a day with great support from other and well maintained captain with his responsible inning.        

winning the toss Nepal chose to bat first but unfortunately team lost hopefull batsman Subash Khakurel in the very second ball of their inning. Gyanendra Malla then played good inning with some control before being out on 26 runs from 35 balls with four fours. Paras Khadka then joined Anil Mandal making just 3 runs leaving Nepal to 50 for 3. At this stage it was seen as if some bad star is going to rise for Nepal but 89 runs partnership between Anil and Sharad Vesawkar controlled the game towards Nepalese side. Unfortunately team lost Sharad in 36th over when Sharad was at 27 off 66 balls.Anil sowed a good bating form and kept his mind so that not to follow his partner toward the pavilion .He completed his half-century in 90 balls but it just took 27 balls to score next one and finally he manage to score 113 out of 134 balls.while Basant Regmi, Binod Das, and Pradeep Airee each contributed some runs before being bundled for 240. Basanta scored 21(27) runs, Binod scored 15(7) with 2 sixes and Pradeep added 11(8) with 2 fours. Sanjam Regmi was given out for obstructing the field in the last ball. Thus team manage to make a well maintained 240 of 50 over.                  
                       

Denmark Inning

Denmark started their inning with huge hope because to reach Division 3 they had a pressure of winning this match.They suffered badly as they lost Carsten Pedersen in second over of the match where Nepali captain strike his first wicket .
Nepal got the second breakthrough in the 14th over when Shehzad Ahmed was trapped leg before wicket for 9 runs by S Regmi. Taha Ahmed became the next victim of lbw by Gauchan in 21st over. But then, game some what goes in favor Denis side where Andreas Lambert looked danger, Lambert was on 47 with 4 fours and 1 six when the rain stopped the play at the completion of the 25 overs. Using D/L method Denmark’s target was revised to 156 in 31 overs but Nepal had full control through the innings. As soon as the match started the agressive Lambert gave his wicket to S.Regmi to compel his second wicket of he match.Despite, Binod Das conceding 12 runs in an over, Paras getting himself uneasy to bowl in the extreme over giving 18 runs in an over, Basanta Regmi control the inning helding the six balls with 5 runs.Its seems like the team have somewhat missed Amrit Bhattarai at those moment but Captain finally hold his head high taking three wickets in last over where Denmark were needing 29 runs to win. Thus captain Parash Khadka took 4 wickets  for 34 runs.Sanjam and Basant claimed two wickets each while Shakti Gauchan picked up one. Basanta regmi has been very sucessful bowler thought the tournament he has already claim altogether 16 wickets in 5 matches while Shakti have proven himself as the most economical bowler in Affiliated nation.In today's match as well he gave just 12 runs for 7 over with one maiden with an economy of 1.71. Finally Nepal win the match with 25 runs making 5 win in a row with all-round performance.
