Simplicity is an adjective used to explain innocence. We are innocent in a sense that we know nothing more than playing a competitive game every day. We enter the final of two consecutive tournament and make to the final of both, not only we make to the final but also we become the winner of them. First we achieved division IV to enter division III and now its ACC Elite Cup2012.A cricketer field is a battle field for us. We don’t do unnecessary shouting’s rather than we simply play a silent game at first and start an uniform acceleration till the end from the mid over. In both bowling and bating we don’t depend upon a single players fielding and bowling changes are the most prominent thing that captain and coach has improved a lot since many games. Rotating the strike and backing up the players were the good features seen in the team.

               Holding this key for Nepal are the four pillars of Nepali team. The simplicity of this experienced veteran players have the influenced the youngsters coming in the senior level and the environment in the dressing room have changed significantly. As coach Dasanaike mentioned.”I simply restore the confidence which was lacking in the team”. Nepalese mixture of youth and experienced have changed the mode of playing style in the team. They look a good and confidence team either batting 1^st order 2^nd. They are unplayable at times and the confidence level at current matches no associates/affiliated member have.

            The team which lost momentum in the mid ways 3 to 4 years ago is currently running at the good form in all three departments an unbeaten win of division-IV aid their confidence sky high. With the confidence they entered ACC ELITE cup and with no surprise though as joint winner of the competition held their head high once again.

             It’s not always that we can take all good things only. The bad things must also be pointed out and their lose confidence was seen against Kuwait in which the opponent counter attacked and hammered the entire bowler. That match did mark little bit poor decision making of few players. We missed a genuine fast bowler at times and now we should be proud that our irregular bowlers too did a very good job to make us win this competition. But excellence shown by Shakti Gauchan and Basanta Regmi with bat and ball in many occasion make us proud their combination with the ball make like difficult for all of the team.

                     Similarly the father- son combination of skipper Paras and Gyanendra always played vital knock for the team always coming up with huge partnership and between them one always scores till the end. Paras proved his captaincy with bowling and fielding skills as well.

With the cameo from Paras, Pradeep Airee, Sharad Veshwakar and Prithu Baskota even also charmed along with the sparkling middle order. As a whole all the member performed as a team and their combined efforts took us today at that level whier we were dreaming since long. This make our task a little easier but more challenges must be overcome now and this little wonderers which we are achieving would count a little bit more when we will grasp and ODI status and play in the upcoming 2015 ICC world cup. ACC Elite Cup 2012 Final Nepal Vs UAE Match Summary

Nepal(SP Khakurel 55(74),SP Gauchan 3/36) Shared ACC Elite Cup 2012 with UAE(*Saqib Ali 101(103), Ahmed Raza 2/44) after the match is tied in Sharjah. 

Today at Sharjah, Elite Cup tested the best final in the history of Elite Cup.The very thrilling match which brought a lot of up and down for the both teams nearly takes the breathe of every players, fans and live viewers.
                Nepali skipper won the toss and elected to field first as Nepal have got strong bowling attack.At the beginning UAE bating seemed to be in trouble when they had loose Arshad Ali without scoring a single run and that of team,consequently they loose 4 wickets at just 70 runs in 20 overs.It was a day for the captain Khurraum Khan and Saqib Ali.Both of them controlled the whole inning and managed to make a grand total of 241 in the final.Khan scored 61 runs of 79 balls with 5 fours before he was send back to pavilion by Gauchan and Ali managed to score an unbeaten century.He scored 101 runs of 103 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes and finally managed to drag the team score to competitive level. Nepali bowler seemed economical rather than successful today.They just succeed to take 6 wickets of the opponent among which Gauchan took 3, S Regmi took 1 and 2 of the batsman of UAE were run-out.

                            The target of 241 was given to Nepal in 50 overs where Nepal produced an excellent start.The first wickets partnership between Mandal and Khakurel was of 94 runs meantime team lost  Mandal with his personal score of 45 of 67 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.The tragedy of partner drag Khakurel along with him and thus he got to pavilion hiting 55(74).At this stage team total was of 106 in 24.3 overs so as it was thought Nepal would meet target easily but who knows, problems doesn't comes along with notification.The partnership between Captain and vice-captain creeped the team total to 165 but the star bowler Raza Hasha came in attack taking two wickets of  Paras and G.Malla in consecutive balls.Team seemed critical at that moment but S.Vesawkar batted exceptionally well, he scored unbeaten 38 runs of 36 balls with a four and 2 sixes rescuing Nepal team till the last.
                                          The most thrilling part of the match was final over where Nepal was requiring 12 runs of it and Gauchan was on strike who was going to face S.Silva.The first three balls of last over brought only 2 runs and hope to win was nearly fading along with setting sun in Sharjah, but fortunately Gauchan hits a massive six over the long and brought  required runs at 4 for just 2 balls.This humongous six gave a water to a dead man and made him wake up.The second last ball brought 2 runs leaving 2 runs to score from the last ball of last over.Unfortunately Gauchan the the hero of today's match managed to score 1 run and got back to pavilion while tried to bring the second one to win the match, finally match ended in tie and both team share the Cup.

Players to watch

Saqib is the Man of the match for his brilliant century and Paras Khadka, the Man of the series for his consistent performances with the bat and the ball.

Man of the Tournament Nepali Skipper and All rounder Paras Khadka have scored all together 291 runs, taken 7 catches and altogether 9 wickets in the tournament.
SP Gauchan remained as the highest wicket taker of the tournament with his 15 wickets with an economy of just 3.18.
B Regmi took 10 wickets in the tournament with an economy of 3.81.
G Malla remained as second highest scorer from Nepal.He scored 212 runs and AK Mandal remained as third highest scores with his 200 runs.

                  UAE is a team with a complete package .If we talk about back bone of the team then its the pool of turners they have.They have almost 6 spinners and have got bowler like Ahmed Raza who have played just 4 match and capture 12 wickets with an economy of just 3.40 , Arshad Ali(The best known all rounder of UAE) who have 8 wickets in his pocket with and economy of 3.94 and Khurram Khan(skipper) and 7 wickets in the tournament. 

                         The weakest part of the team is seems bating this time but not as weakest as the word says because these batsman like Mohammad Azam(125 runs) , Shaiman Anwar(174 runs ),Saqib Ali(121 runs) and Arshad Ali(97 runs) along with Abdul Ifthikar(146 runs) are the best known batsman of UAE.So the final conclusion bring us that UAE is a well mantained team with Unorthodox and orthodox players.If they play in well form they can bring down any team of Associated Nation so these player we mentioned are the best among the UAE side and the players to watch in Final.

Team Nepal Analysis

The current Nepali team is thought to be one of the finest team in the Associated and Affiliated nation.The main back bone of the team are Spinners,the Midas Skipper Paras Khadka and the coach Pubudu Dassanayake. Nepal have won 9 out of 10 last matches and are strong orthodxy team. In the thrilling semi final they have beaten (The team lead by the former God Father of Nepal Cricket Roy Dyas) Malaysia by 21 runs and entered the final of ACC Elite Cup 2012 to play with UAE for the second time.Before this Nepal have already played final of elite cup with UAE in 2002 when Nepal have lose that match, but since then time have changed in drastic manner and almost no one are in the team who have played that match from both side.
